Shiraz Cottage is a luxury 4 star yet affordable 3 bedroomed, 3 bathroomed fully furnished vacation rental home in the delightful village of Franschhoek, the gourmet capital of the Western Cape in South Africa.

Available for weekends, or several days, or longer, and only 45 minutes' drive from Cape Town airport, Shiraz Cottage is on a very quiet sidestreet in the village of Franschhoek that offers guests an oasis of tranquility, gastronomic delights, miles of vineyards, the quaint village and breathtaking scenery.

 
Guests can choose to rent
a) the 2 double bedroomed house for up to 4 people
b) the 1 double bedroomed apartment for up to 2 people, or
c) the whole cottage for up to 6 people.

The main house has 2 double bedrooms and a stunning lounge with dining area leading, via large French doors, onto the private patio and garden.

 

Beautifully furnished in French Country style, made sparkling clean and fresh - ready for your arrival - and equipped to high standards, Shiraz Cottage has been awarded 4 star status by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.

 

 

Shiraz Cottage is located in a quiet road only 10 minutes' walk to the bustling village centre with its boutique shops and world class, award-winning restaurants, but it is well away from town traffic, so you get the best of both worlds. It is within walking distance of two of the finest vineyards with exquisite restaurants - Chamonix and Dieu Donnè.

 

 

 

The apartment is ideal for 2 people and can be rented with or without the house.

 

 

The spacious, private walled garden and shaded patio area has a refreshing pool and lovely mountain views.

 

Both the house and apartment are available for short (minimum 2 nights) or long term lets;  so whether you need a mini recharge over a long weekend, a complete change of scenery for longer, or a luxury start to a trip along the Garden Route, the cottage offers you a true haven for relaxation.
